On, Thursday, May 31st 2018, the 3rd plenary meeting of the SoilCare project was closed after almost a week of presentations and intensive discussions.
Advisory Board member Hein ten Berge gave one of the last presentations. In that presentation he shared his impressions of the project and the scientists working on the project. A few remarks he made: 'Highly skilled / experienced / motivated team', 'Challenging complexity – implied in multi-actor approach', and; 'All exciting topics / practices' (about the study sites). In general, Hein was content with what he saw, and also left behind some insights to take home and potential future pitfalls.
The plenary meeting was closed on Thursday by project leader Rudi Hessel.
On Friday, an excursion was organised to the Askov Research Centre (Aarhus University) to see the 120 years long-term experiment. After the excursion all attendees returned home.
